I've got love to give
I've got love to keep
I've seen where you live
I've seen where you sleep
yeah I've gone in too deep
disappear into fear
if you dare
say your prayer
live alone you sinking stone
cause ill see you at the foot of the golden throne
now you wanna come in
come in from the storm
all bathed in your sin
trying to get warm
and yet you are adorned
disappear into fear
if you dare
say your prayer
come on up to me
come with us and see
love and mystery
will soon be history
you're already free
and soon we all will be
in the periphery
disappear with me
and bury your bones beneath the stone
cause ill see you at the foot of the golden throne
For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space. frankwurst
As these psychedelic folk rockers from Glasgow apparently like to play with dark-light contrasts, Lucid Sins is indeed a well chosen band name. My normal go-to address for this kind of music with a pleasant retro-flair, is Chris Wade's Dodson & Fogg but by good luck I stumbled over these guys, who deliver comparable goods, though a good deal harder hitting and with infectious grooves. The drivin Hidden in the Dark is another favourite. Carsten Pieper
This Calgary group makes goth-y post-punk attired in the brightly colorful arrangements of bleep-boop synthesized psychedelia. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 3, 2024
